| My name is Tasneem Penn...and I am an Artist. I like watching people,discovering their personalities & individualistic traits gives me a thrill.On the other hand... I very much dislike People. Their inconsideration for anyone but themselves and destructive ways sadden me, and make me want to seclude myself. At times I wish I were alone & didn't have to deal with anyone.I find solace in solitude.I don't expect any to understand my viewpoint.All that I ask is that I get the respect I deserve. Edgar Allan Poe is the author who I most identify with in my writing...which is why he is my favorite. I discovered Tell-Tale Heart and instantly became infatuated with his work. I woke one morning by instinct, something told me to look outside and when I did...I felt as though I was in a tale of his. Sadly, I cannot upload the photos here because the resolution is too small. I have great respect for other cultures, the Asian and Mediterranean are my favorites to learn about, with Japan and Italy at the top of my list. In the beginning, I would only subject myself to poetry and photography...but recently I realized that I love art as a whole. Any form of self-expression tickles my fancy, so to speak. And even if most methods aren't for me...I love learning about them anyway. ...I'm rambling. Have fun in my gallery and please leave your most honest thoughts. Thank you.  |
